Wednesday, August 8th Agenda:
1:30 to 3:15 pm, Android Project
Software development project using JAVA (Android) to create an App for Android capable phones.
• Mind Mapping introduction (Jim)
o Using mind mapping to drill down the User Requirements
• JAVA (Android) exercises (Ron)
o Focusing a little bit more on the mechanics of building an application, using Logcat, Intents, etc.

3:15 to 4:00 pm, Group Networking.
“Organize your Job Search” (Jim) A look at one way you can organize your job search information.

4:00 to 5:45 pm: Generic programming and the C++ STL – Continued (Nainan Kovoor)
- Brief review of previous session's material
- A second motivating example
- Design principles for the STL
- Architecture of the STL - Concepts and Categories; Containers, Iterators, Algorithms
- Sequence containers - vectors, deques, lists
- A larger example

Comment: Because of the way the material is structured, someone who didn't attend the first session needn't be totally lost - though it would be a great help to have attended the first session.
