Description:
We will focus on the very early stages of company formation including incorporation, team formation, angel/government funding. We will be joined by entrepreneurs who have formed diagnostic and therapeutic companies.
Bioarray, founded by Dr. Fournier, is developing a test in which a combination of biomarkers will be used to determine effective treatment of breast cancer.
STC Biologics, led by Dr. Lezczyniecka, is developing antibody biosimilars.
Cellanyx is a winner of multiple business competitions and one of their founders, Dr. Chander developed Cellanyx's core technology while in academia.
This promises to be an exciting evening in which we hope that the audience members will will leave the program empowered enough to start thinking about their own venture!!
